So... As it turns out, since I joined bbj I was manually inserting line breaks on my posts. Which is... not great for many obvious reasons. Now thanks to a tip by ~ant at #club on newnet, I can keep using nano to compose my posts (take that, vim purists!) but don't have to worry about line breaks, and people viewing this on shells of any length (and even on other platforms) won't see a mess of text. For anyone interested (why are you reading this? I specifically told you to ignore!), the nano configs are: starting nano with --softwrap, or active it inside nano with Alt+S, or specify `nano -S' as the editor command in your BBJ options, or specify `set softwrap' (no quotes) in your .nanorc file

>>OP Also, I just noticed that the BBJ shell client inserts line breaks on the content even when they are not present. You can compare this very thread on the shell and on this web interface: https://bbj.tildeverse.org/?thread_id=aef76060980e11f0921435fa721d1923

>>OP This is by design, see: Help -> Post formatting help for an explanation.
