I'm always looking for stuff to add to my list! I'll start I recently saw Oppenhiemer in theatres and highly reccomend, I love pretty much anything by Christopher Nolan For TV I'm trying to watch all of One Piece but I've been taking my time so check back on me in 2 years. Hijacked is another one I've been watching recently but I'm not caught up. Other than that I have to finish the sopranos and House MD I'll also add my favorite TV shows, which would probably be breaking bad and true detective season 1. Severence so far has also been some of the best TV I've ever seen Movies would be LOTR trilogy, and Inception. I easily watch Inception every year and try to rewatch the LOTR triligoy whenever I have time. Curios to see what everyone else is watching!

>>OP I'm a big Nolan fan too! We just saw Oppenheimer last weekend - it was great. As far as TV goes, I'm a pathological trekkie so I try to keep up with the new Trek shows as they come out, even the series that admittedly are a little weaker (like Discovery). Thankfully right now Strange New Worlds is airing, which is my favorite out of all the Kurtzman-era Trek. For what it's worth my favorite Trek series of all time is TNG. A few weeks back I finished watching Silo season 1. I'm a massive fan of the book series, which is the main thing that drove me to want to watch the show. They changed a few things (don't they always?) but overall I liked it. We're also doing a Futurama rewatch in conjunction with their new season which just started airing a couple weeks ago. What We Do In The Shadows is fun as well.

>>1 I've been watching Silo too! I've enjoyed it so far, I like Apple's TV network so far they seem to put out some pretty decent shows. If you haven't checked out Severance on there I'd give it a watch. Kind of slow to start out but really starts to pickup and I think the season 1 finale was one of the best season finales I've ever seen on TV. Looking forward to the second season but apperently its a ways out. I also just learned Johnathan Nolan is working on a fallout series, so I'm definitely looking forward to that whenever it happens

>>2 I've already seen Severance and I agree it's awesome. It's a shame it'll take forever for the new season - from what I had heard they had *just* started production on it when the writer's strike hit. I keep forgetting a Fallout series is coming out. I'm trying to reserve judgement until I see it - I like J. Nolan and I like Fallout but it's so hard to adapt video games well. If you like Jonathan Nolan, don't forget he did West World. The quality kinda drops off towards the end of the second season but before that it's still pretty enjoyable. Also, he did a TV show for CBS awhile back called "Person of Interest" which is awesome, especially if you're a tech nerd. It's one of my favorite series.

>>3 I'm glad you already enjoyed Severance! Unfortunate that it will take so long, there is some suplimental material available that is canon in universe. Theres a short story on Apple Books that i'm sure is elsewhere too at this point because its free. It gives some insight into what they are actually doing down there, though not much. I too very much enjoy the Fallout games so I'm cautiously optimistic about this adaptation. I really enjoyed westworld, even the later seasons though they where flawed, so I look forward to seeing J Nolans take on it. I still can't believe they canceled the last season of WestWorld. I don't know if you saw the writers leak from it, but it seemed like the last season really would have tied the others together and probably actually made them better in the grand scheme. They have callbacks to what was supposed to happen in like every season. I'll have to check out person of interest! Didn't know it was by him. I remember my grandfather liking that show a lot and the premise looks interesting.

>>4 I had heard about the supplementary material... I think I may have even downloaded it at some point, but I haven't read it yet. It's probably languishing somewhere in my NAS. I'm torn on wanting more info but also not wanting to be spoiled. Did you see they just released some info on the Fallout show at Gamescon? They even showed a short trailer, although it hasn't been released publicly yet and the only recording that seems to exist is some guy's cell phone video of it. That's interesting - I didn't realize anything had leaked. I'm tempted to go back and rewatch the whole thing - I honestly didn't pay much attention after Season 2. Person of Interest is great! I think a lot of people got turned off by it because the first seasons are highly episodic and that's not really "in style" any more, but after a few seasons it switches in to a much bigger overarching plot.

>>OP For whatever reason or another, I keep circulating between Space ghost coast to coast, dr. katz, duckman and Sealab 2021 (which, in hindsight, seems SO valid now given the errr whole submersible thing :x) I guess I'm in a [adult swim] and old school cartoon kinda vibe atm. As for newer stuff, back on the [as] kick, my favorites have been Smiling Friends and especially Royal Crackers. (I live in the show's backdrop location ahaha, they represent it p well!) Smiling friends feels like all the crazy ass newgrounds flash animations rolled up into one succinct series. Royal Crackers is an apt satirical characterization of podunk hillbilly high-class squares who dominate over a wasteland suburban dustbowl and struggle to maintain their leverage as Cracker snack moguls LMFAO. That's it for my 2 cents on what I been watching smfh

>>OP If you're looking for a Halloween movie, Holidays (2016) is a good one. It's a collection of short stories taking place on different holidays, taking a twisted look on holiday-related horror. I'm also re-watching Friday Night Dinner, there were very few seeds so I guess it's not very popular or well known (but it's mainstream, not anything hipster-niche). The first season is properly funny, then it goes down hill like shows usually do.

I started watching [yellow: House MD] for the first time a couple months back. I completed the first 4 seasons before I stopped watching it due to school obligations. I liked it a lot. It's one of the few formulaic TV shows I enjoyed. I've heard that it takes a dip in quality towards the end though. Once I get some free time I'd like to watch [red: Game of Thrones] [dim: (only the first 4 seasons)] but it doesn't look like that's going to happen anytime soon.

I've been on a bit of a cyberpunk kick lately, so I finally got around to starting Bubblegum Crisis, and damn it's a good. A lot of really fun, over the top android designs and fun fights.

Watched Season 1 of The Boys last week, was bloody brilliant.

Oh yeah, I also fell ill with coronavirus the Friday before last, so I watched all three The Matrix films while lying in bed. Perhaps that inspired me to join this community haha
