Hey all! I left Facebook altogether earlier this year and with it, the marketplace. So now I'm a bit at a loss for where to hunt for retro and vintage computer components. I'm aware of eBay, and have been a member since 2006, but eBay prices on certain things (like CRT monitors) is pretty crazy. Sometimes the price of the items themselves is already outlandish, but then you tack on shipping + taxes and eBay fees and it's just ludicrous. I thought about purusing Goodwill at some point, but wasn't sure if they would even have anything old like that. Then there are of course thrift stores and second hand stores. So where have you guys had good luck finding old parts and components?

Heya, it's probably very location dependent but there are "electronic flea markets" in many cities. That's where I found most of the interesting schtuff I have.:) lmk if you wanna know more about it! >>OP
